Do you have some time you want to give Theatre Harrisburg, but don’t quite
know how to volunteer?
Are you good at moving furniture, scenery, boxes, or platforms?
We have a need for volunteers to help us move our sets from the Production
Center on Hurlock to the Whitaker Center backstage area.
The usual time commitment for this job is anywhere from 2-3 hours, depending
on the size of the set involved. The exact day of the move-in depends on whether
the production is a musical or a drama/comedy — Musical sets are moved on
Saturday mornings, drama/comedy sets are moved on Sunday mornings.

Set construction/assembly...
Are you great with tools? Do you have construction knowledge? Would you like
to assist the Theatre Harrisburg Production Manager in assembling an actual set
for a show?
You could volunteer 2-4 hours of your time on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon
to help us up to 5 times a year.
We need volunteers to assist us to re-assemble our sets and scenery after
they are moved to Whitaker Center. The time commitment for this job is
approximately 1-5PM. The exact day of the construction depends on whether the
production is a musical or a drama/comedy — Musical sets are assembled on
Saturday afternoons, drama/comedy sets are assembled on Sunday afternoons.
