Our 2007-08 season offers subscribers a new concept—Theatre
Harrisburg performing in two locations! Our Mainstage musicals will
continue to be presented on the impressive stage of the Sunoco Performance
Theatre of Whitaker Center (“Downtown”), while our Mainstage plays will be
taking off in new directions, with increased intimacy, at our recently renovated
Krevsky Production Center (“Uptown”) on 6th at Hurlock Street.
The presentations at the Krevsky Center will bring you
literally face to face with actors in an intimate and flexible setting—each
production will re-configure the performing and audience spaces to meet the
unique demands of the play, something which affords welcome challenges for our
creative team. In addition, we’ll be able to offer longer runs of the plays,
giving you more choices as a subscriber of which performance to attend.
If you’ve never been a subscriber before, you’ll want to
consider the many advantages of a subscription! In addition to reduced
ticket prices, you will be able to choose your seat and keep it for all
productions at Whitaker Center. Since the seating arrangement will change for
each production at the Krevksy Center, permanent seating is not possible, but a
special “premium seating” section will be reserved for subscribers. Exchange
privileges are always available to you as well whenever your schedule
requires that you adjust the night you attend a performance.
